In 1999, Mr. Roland Cabanos, and six students from Appomattox Regional Governor's School banded together and created the FIRST® Robotics team: Team 404: Flamin' Dragons! A few years later, Mr. Cabanos left the school, causing the team to disband due to funding. In 2015, ARGS got a new robotics team under the number 5546. After an unsuccessful year in 2022, we advocated–and got–our original 404 number back and revamped the team. Since then, Team 404 has been going strong!
